Terms of Service | Maps to Lead

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Maps to Lead governing your access to and use of mapstolead.com and the associated lead generation service (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
One account per person or legal entity. Sharing accounts or a search allowance between multiple users is not permitted.

3. Subscription and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Plans, prices, and the number of searches included are described on the Pricing page and are subject to change with 30 days' notice.
Subscriptions are billed in advance via Stripe, either monthly or, on a yearly plan, once for the full twelve-month term. All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Searches are allocated per calendar month on every plan, including yearly plans. A search covering a wider area consumes several searches from that allowance, in proportion to the area covered, as shown in the app before you run it. The allowance does not pool across the year and unused searches do not roll over to the next month.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term - the end of the month on a monthly plan, or the end of the twelve-month term on a yearly plan; you retain access until then.
Changing plan or billing period mid-term is prorated by Stripe: you are charged or credited only the difference for the remainder of the term.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for accounts with failed payments after reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or for any activity that violates the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, or applicable anti-spam laws.
Use the Service to collect personal data for purposes that require explicit consent under applicable law, unless you have obtained that consent independently.
Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service or the data it returns without our written consent.
Use the Service in a manner that violates Google Maps Platform's Terms of Service.
Automate requests to the Service beyond normal usage patterns in a way that degrades performance for other users.
Use the Service to collect data on private individuals (the Service is intended for business contact data only).

Free tools. We offer free tools (such as the website email finder) that work without an account. They are provided as-is, with no availability or accuracy commitment, and the rules above apply to them in full - expressly including the prohibitions on unsolicited bulk email and on automated or bulk access. Each tool accepts one target at a time by design; scripting it, or attempting to use it as a bulk extraction service, is a breach of these Terms. We may rate-limit, block, or withdraw any free tool at any time without notice.

5. Data and intellectual property

Your data - search results and enriched contact data generated through your use of the Service belong to you. We do not claim ownership of that data.
Our platform - the Service, its software, design, and underlying technology are owned by Maps to Lead and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform.
Third-party data - business information returned from Google Maps and enriched from third-party websites is subject to the terms and conditions of those sources. You are responsible for how you use that data.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that search results will be complete, accurate, or current; that enriched contact data will be deliverable; or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maps to Lead and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maps to Lead and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and costs (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
